Guides Can Help with Summer Classes

Did you know that the library has over 130 online guides in a wide variety of subject areas? These were created by librarians and library staff; they can help you to find the best and most reliable sources on a topic. Find out the best resources to use for your class assignments, or for research, quickly and easily.

The guides are searchable by keywords, tags, and subjects.  Click here to get started -- and you could save some time, finish assignments more efficiently, and go out and enjoy the summer weather!

If you can think of a new subject guide you'd like to see, please let us know!

Carpet Work Begins in Reference

Stained old carpeting

Beginning Monday morning, May 21, the computers in the five east/west rows of computer desks in the Electronic Resource Area on second floor will be unavailable in order to allow us to replace the carpeting under the desks.  We are excited about this project.  This area is one of the most used areas of the building, and the stained and worn carpeting shows how popular it is.

Electronic Resource Area

The computers in the rows running north and south behind the Reference Desk and the clusters of computers on all floors will still be available for use next week.  Please see the helpful folks at the Circulation Desk or the Reference Desk if you need help locating a computer to use for your research.

Thanks for your patience as we continue to improve our building!
