Listening Equipment

The Art & Music Collection has three LP players, three CD players, and three tape players in the rear of the area.  Headphones may be borrowed at the desk.  Additionally, there are two group listening rooms that may be signed out by groups of two or more students.  Each room is equipped with a CD, LP, and cassette player.  Portable cassette and CD players may be borrowed at the desk as well.

Viewing Equipment

The Collection has a TV and VCR unit in the rear of the unit that may be used to view videos.  Both listening rooms are also equipped with a TV and VCR for use by groups of two or more students.  A DVD player is also available in one listening room.  Patrons may borrow a slide viewer for 2-hour in-library use.

Scanner

Patrons may scan library materials on the public scanner in Art and Music.  The scanner, located across from the desk, is hooked up to an IBM compatible computer.  Patrons may save their scanned images to either a zip disk or a 3 1/2" disk.  Complete instructions on operating the scanner are located on the scanner lid.
