Who can Ask Questions?
This service is intended for use by UNI students, faculty, and staff and by Iowa residents. Questions from others may be answered, particularly if they relate to resources unique to Rod Library.
Ask questions about topics such as:
- finding journal articles
- using databases like LexisNexis
- statistics or factual data
- other research topics and resources
- other Rod Library services and resources
Who Will Answer My Question?
Your question will be answered by library staff members working in the Reference or Access Services Departments. Depending on the question, we may recommend an in-person consultation, suggest that we send your answer later via email, ask you to call, or ask you to stop by the Library.
Questions About Checkouts, Renewals, Fines, etc.
Contact the Circulation Desk or call (319) 273-2462 if you have questions about checking out books, laptops, study rooms, renewals, fines, recalls, noise, or similar matters.

Patrons are expected to conduct themselves in a courteous manner. Sessions may be terminated at the discretion of library staff members.
