Rod Library is conducting a survey to help us tailor our mobile website to fit the needs of our mobile users. The survey takes about 5 minutes to complete and will be available until Feburary 16th. Thanks for your help!
We are continuing to develop our mobile website to better meet the needs of our users. Please take the Mobile Website User Survey and tell us what you want to see on Rod Library's mobile site. The survey will be available from January 28 through February 14, 2011.
A mobile version of UNISTAR, the Library's online catalog, is now available on your mobile device! You can do a keyword search for library materials while you are on the go. Point your mobile device to UNISTAR Mobile to check out this new interface.
Book jackets for many items
Email records to yourself or others
Text records to your cell phone
Save catalog items to preview later (these are saved for 15 minutes at this time)
You'll also find a link to UNISTAR Mobile on the Library's mobile homepage.
Recently the Library revised its Food and Drink policy to allow snack foods to be eaten in the building. The only exceptions are while visiting the Special Collections unit or while using materials from locked collections in the Youth Collection, Art and Music Collection, and maps collection.
Can you bring in that delectable steak for a late night protein boost? Probably not. But you can snack on some nuts and dried fruits instead.
On Saturday, January 8, we will be making some updates to the web server which runs the library's site. Brief outages of less than a minute may occur or the site may respond slower than usual. We appreciate your patience as we try to improve the performance of our site.
