Recently the Library revised its Food and Drink policy to allow snack foods to be eaten in the building. The only exceptions are while visiting the Special Collections unit or while using materials from locked collections in the Youth Collection, Art and Music Collection, and maps collection.
Can you bring in that delectable steak for a late night protein boost? Probably not. But you can snack on some nuts and dried fruits instead.
On Saturday, January 8, we will be making some updates to the web server which runs the library's site. Brief outages of less than a minute may occur or the site may respond slower than usual. We appreciate your patience as we try to improve the performance of our site.
Rod Library now offers you quality Green Mountain Coffee and tea in individual K-Cups just perfect for brewing a 10 oz cup of hot joe. We have a lot of delicious flavors too! Each K-Cup is $1.00. Stop at the Multiservice Center on the first floor to purchase your K-Cup. You can use your own cup or one of ours. Enjoy!
Beginning at around 10:00 a.m. Monday Oct. 18th the Library will be offering free samples of Keurig coffee from our new coffee machine on the first floor of the library in the Newspaper Room. Upon entering the building go down the main stairs, turn left at the bottom and follow the wall around to the Newspaper Room.
