You can get a jump start on the latest way to find the articles, books, and other information you need for your class assignments and research. Just click on the "Try me!" tab on the library home page to access the new, more powerful version of Panther Prowler, which will be officially unveiled this summer.
Try it out, and you should notice right away that the top results are even more relevant to your search than before. This single, quick search finds the best information from almost all of the library's electronic journals and databases, as well as from the library catalog of books, DVDs, CDs, and other physical items.
Over the past few days we have had intermittent problems with the Quicksearch option on the Articles Search tab. The problem is with the database that we connect to on the Internet. They are aware of this problem and are working to fix it with a status of "critical priority". For the time being, we have changed the default search option to be the older Basic Resources. The Quicksearch option is listed in the dropdown, so you can try it, but you may not get results.
Panther Prowler will be down for a short period of time on Friday morning, October 30th between 6 am and 7 am in order to perform upgrades. Databases can still be searched directly by starting at the Databases A-Z list and clicking on the name of the database during this time.
