Single Periodical Issues

The library acquires single periodical issues at the discretion of the appropriate subject bibliographer if the issues are thematic in nature, that is, focused on a single topic; and represent a significant addition to holdings in a discipline. The issues are handled as monographs in encumbering and expending funds and cataloged as standalone titles. Issues requested because of interest in a single article are not acquired for the collection or for individual use.
