Marvin D. Jensen
Marvin D. Jensen received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Midland Lutheran College in 1965. He received his Master of Arts degree from the University of Kansas in 1967. He served as an Assistant Professor of Speech at the University of Northern Iowa from 1969 until his retirement in 2001.
Professor Jensen taught a variety of courses in the area of communication studies and was active in curriculum development in that area. During his career he made over thirty-five conference presentations and published over fifty articles. He served the Iowa Communication Association in a variety of capacities and received that group's Citation Award for Outstanding Service in 1996.
Professor Jensen sent a small collection of professional papers to the University Archives in November 2001. The collection consists mostly of class-related material and articles and presentations.
