Description of the Material

President Koob kept an extremely busy schedule that included local, state, and national meetings; state and national conferences; alumni visits; campus celebrations; and campus visitors. His staff assisted him in meeting these obligations by creating folders of background information, schedules, maps, and travel plans for many of these events.

Description of Record Series

After President Koob left office in 2007, the staff of the President's Office sent this collection to the University Archives. This collection shows the wide range of public duties and responsibilities in which President Koob was engaged. It is a good place to see the planning that went into events such as the President's Picnic, other public entertainment, and smaller social gatherings. The collection is arranged chronologically, with much more detailed and complete coverage in the later years.
