Mr. Edward Eilderts, Box 267, Aplington, Iowa, former employee of the University of Northern Iowa, died April 5 at his home.

Mr. Eilderts was employed on April 4, 1956, as a custodian at the University. He had been on a disability leave from his position since 1972.

Funeral services for Mr. Eilderts were held at 1:30 Monday, April 8, at Bethel Reform Church at Aplington, with burial at Pleasant View Cemetery.

The flag was flown at half-mast during the time of the funeral services for Mr. Eildert.
