Mrs. Jean Douglas, clerk in the Counseling, Placement and Career Services Department, died at the Americana Health Care Center, on Thursday, January 24, 1980, following a lengthy illness.

Mrs. Douglas was employed by the University September 24, 1970. Due to illness, she was on the University's long-term disability program from April 1977 until the time of her death.

Funeral services were held at the United Presbyterian Church in Lennox, Iowa, on Sunday, January 27, at 2:00 p.m. The Larkin-Bender Funeral Home of Lennox, Iowa, was in charge of services.
