The Society of American Archivists home page presents information on meetings, education, organization, and education. Also included is the SAA Code of Ethics, the ALA-SAA Joint Statement on Access to Original Research Materials, and a directory of North American archival organizations.

The American Library Association archives are held by the University of Illinois. A portion of that collection is available in digital format.

The Berkeley Finding Aids Project, is concerned about standards for encoding archival descriptions and inventories for use on the Web.

The School of Library and Information Science at the University of Iowa has recently developed its own home page with information about admission, financial aid, faculty, and courses of study.

The National Historical Publications and Records Commission site provides information on the Commission's programs, projects, and publications.
