Indexes & Abstracts Collection

The Indexes & Abstracts Collection contains printed sources that list articles in journals, magazines, and newspapers. This collection is located on the first floor of the library, at the end of the Bound Periodicals area. The collection is non-circulating.
Important things to know:
Indexes list articles alphabetically by author and/or subject. Some indexes provide brief summaries or abstracts of the articles listed. Many indexes and abstracts are also available in electronic form that can be accessed through the Databases A-Z link on the library website.

The Reference Collection is located on the 2nd floor and is made up of a variety of information sources such as directories, dictionaries, encyclopedias, handbooks, biographical sources, statistical compilations, and legal materials. Reference materials are intended to be used within the library and do not circulate.
The library is adding many online reference books and other material. These can be located through the library catalog. The location in the catalog is UNI Internet, and the entry will contain a link to go directly to the item.
