West entrance now open

The Library's west entrance is now open!  You now have easier access to the building from the west side of campus.  Coming soon...the Book Bistro cafe in September!  Next week you should start to see hints of the cafe kiosk as the cabinetry is assembled.  Stop by to check out the progress!

The Library will be closing at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 27 in order to allow our staff to prepare fun and exciting events for Bash in the Stacks.  Bash in the Stacks will held from 7:00 - 9:30 p.m. that night and offers a fun evening of game, food, and prizes.

Friday, August 29 - 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Saturday, August 30 - Closed
Sunday, August 31 - Closed
Monday (Labor Day), September 1 - 12:00 noon - 12:00 midnight

Rod Library has upgraded its EBSCO Business Source Elite subscription to Business Source Complete and also will be cancelling its subscription to Business Insights: Global.

The Library is hosting a "Bash in the Stacks" event to welcome UNI students back to campus.  The event will be on August, Wednesday 27th from 7-9:30pm.

Library Dean Chris Cox will be on "Talk of Iowa" on Iowa Public Radio at 10am on Tuesday, July 29th.  He will be joined by the library deans at Iowa and Iowa State to discuss the changes and trends in academic libraries.
