 ARTstor will perform an upgrade to the ARTstor Digital Library on Tuesday, April 16 from 5:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.  During this time, users can access the Digital Library but may experience some slowness.  This upgrade will eliminate the need for Java in the ARTstor Digital Library and provide for downloading single images in Zip files.

Please bring your used hardcover & paperback books to the Rod Library Circulation Desk before April 21st. You will receive one ticket for each book that you bring to the Circulation Desk. You can then exchange each ticket for a different book on Earth Day, April 22 from 10:00-2:00pm outside the library. All students, faculty, staff, and community members will be able to swap books. Please no magazines or textbooks!...

Did you know....

That you can get a Cedar Falls Public Library card here at Rod Library?  This would allow you to check out books in our CFPL @ UNI collection, located in the Browsing Room, filled with popular fiction and non-fiction books.  This card also allows you access to the public library's collection of free ebooks and Freegal (Free music downloads)!

Lobby wall

Big changes are coming to the Rod Library lobby area over spring break.  The picture here shows the wood paneled wall separating the lobby from the Reference Collection shelves.  Say goodbye to the wall!
