The African American Read-In will take place on Monday, February 22, 2010 in the Youth Collection on the 3rd floor of Rod Library. It will begin at 9:30 a.m. and run until 1 p.m. Jan Spivey Gilchrist is an award-winning author/illustrator and UNI alumna. She will be doing three rotating workshops with students (grades 1-2) during which she will draw.
