If you need assistance in finding information, please Ask a Librarian for help. In addition to this individualized instruction that librarians provide, as an ongoing part of reference assistance, the library also provides instruction to groups and classes throughout the academic year.

Library faculty members also meet with undergraduate and graduate classes to teach students about library resources and effective library research strategies. Instructors who would like to arrange for library instruction may call Reference & Instructional Services (273-2839) or the appropriate Special Services area. Instructors may also request instruction through our online Library Instruction Request Form. Handouts in the use of key library resources are available near the Reference Desk and in the Art & Music, Documents & Maps, Youth, and Special Collections areas.
