In honor of Valentine’s week the Rod would like to set you up on a “Blind Date With A Book”
Here’s how it works- Stop by and check out a  specially wrapped book from our display.
Take it home, unwrap it, read it, and enjoy! If you don’t like the book, simply return it to the library, its feelings won’t be hurt.
After reading the book write a couple of lines on our Facebook page (Rod Library @ UNI) and tell us how it went. All entries will be entered into a drawing for a sweet prize.
Winners will be chosen Friday February 22nd.

Courtesy of the State Library of Iowa, Rod Library is now able to access “Learning Express.” Learning Express offers career and academic resources such as online tutorials, practice tests, e-books, and a comprehensive job search and career guidance system. Log in to this resource and create your own account to maintain a personalized list of resources such as GRE prep, PRAXIS prep, TOEIC exams, and tips on creating great cover letters and resumes.

 We have installed a new snack machine on the 1st Floor next to the soda machine.  Stop in for a quick refuel.

 Color Printing is here!!  To print in color from a public workstation, change the default printer to "2 Lobby-COLOR" and choose "Color" as a print option.   Follow the screen prompts and retrieve your print job from the color printer/copier in the 2nd Floor Lobby.  Price is .50 per page that will be charged to your U-bill.  If you need any assistance don't hesitate to ask for assistance from the Circulation or Reference desk.
