The University of Northern Iowa is located in Cedar Falls, Iowa, at the intersection of College Street and University Avenue. Visitor parking can sometimes be difficult to locate. The Conference and Visitor Center at 27th Street and Hudson Road can often give advice on visitor parking.

The Rod Library is located west of the Maucker Union and east of the Campanile. Special Collections and University Archives is located on the third level of the Rod Library just north of the large Dichotomy sculpture.

The Special Collections reading room is open for service from 8AM until 4PM Monday through Friday during fall, spring, and summer terms. Hours of service may vary during holidays and interims between terms.
