Responsibilities:

• Leads in the development, implementation, and provision of reference and information services
• Oversees daily operations of the RIS Department
• Leads department in developing annual goals and objectives
• Evaluates effectiveness of departmental operations
• Assists researchers with questions by chat, email, phone, and in person
• Assesses departmental needs for staff, equipment, space, etc.
• Consults with coordinators of library instruction, distance education library services, disability services, and government documents services as needed
