  • If using Google Scholar off-campus:

Opposing Viewpoints Resource Center [10] offers an array of online resources on controversial topics.  Content includes essays from opposing viewpoints, encyclopedia entries, news articles, magazine articles, research articles, and statistics.

  • After getting search results, choose articles from the "Academic Journals"
  • Choose the “longer” articles
  • Scholarly articles should have either a bibliography/footnotes or footnotes.

  • Check the box “Scholarly (Peer Reviewed) Journals”
  • Search
  • Choose the “longer” articles
