The LibQUAL+ survey results from February 2007 provided the Library with information about user preferences and desires regarding library services and resources. The results indicate which aspects of the library resources and services addressed in the survey are most and least important to those who responded. The results also show the areas where the survey respondents are most satisfied, and dissatisfied, with resources and services. We will carefully look at these areas when planning changes to better serve you, the library users.
We have made some changes in the past year in order to address needs that were expressed through this survey and a previous student survey conducted during fall 2006. Some of these are:
- Designated Quiet Areas in the Rod Library building
- Added dual-monitor workstations in public areas for group
- Changed open hours to 10:00-7:00 on Saturdays
- Pilot project to provide research help by librarians in Curris Business Building
