Use UNISTAR [1] (the Rod Library's catalog) to locate books, videos, journals, and other materials selected or purchased by the library. Click on the above link or on Books and Other Materials (UNISTAR) on the Rod Library homepage.

If you know the author or the title of the item you want to locate, select the appropriate search option and enter the information. Titles should be entered starting with the first word. Authors should be entered with the last name first (e.g., steinbeck john).

If you are trying to determine what books the library owns on a particular topic, you can use either the subject or keyword search functions. Subject searching requires that you enter words based on a standardized list of Library of Congress Subject Headings. Keyword searching lets you enter terms that you know that represent your topic.

If the library does not own a book you are interested in, you can request that the book be borrowed from another library by filling out an Interlibrary Loan [2] request form.
