Within the University structure, the Rod Library is part of the Academic Affairs division, under the direction of the Vice President of Academic Affairs. As seen on the Library Administrative Organization chart [1], the Library is organized into departments reporting to the Dean of Library Services Services. The staff of the Library consists of approximately 75 part-time student assistants, 21 merit system staff members, 11 Library Associates, and 21 Library Faculty members (including the Dean, Department Heads, and Nonadministrative Librarians). Student assistants work in each department of the Library and in the Dean's Office.
