Publication Alerts / (SDI)

Many databases and journals offer email publication alerts or Selective Dissemination of Information (SDI) services through which you receive email notifications of recently added results matching your profiled search(es):

PsycINFO
Published by the American Psychological Association, this comprehensive psychology database indexes and abstracts articles from more than 2,000 journals in psychology and related disciplines.

For first-time Search Alert users:

1. Click on Help. 
2. In the Help Search window ("Enter keyword" window) type alert and click on Search. 
3. Follow the instructions for creating and modifying a Search Alert.
    

SciVerse ScienceDirect
Access 2,000 full text electronic journals in the physical, social, and mathematical sciences through this service provider.

Users may register to save searches; to create search alerts, journal issue alerts, and citation alerts; and to create a favorite journal list which can be browsed and searched.

• Registering in ScienceDirect  Register to set up Alerts and a Profile.
• Search Alerts  Register and then click on the Alerts button at the top.
• Changing your Profile in ScienceDirect  Fine-tune your Profile.
