Off Campus Access into Library Resources

To search the library's licensed resources from your home or work computer, you need to be a currently enrolled UNI student, faculty or staff member. From the library's website at  http://www.library.uni.edu/, you should be taken to the library's authentication page when you click on any link to a licensed library database, ejournal, or ebook.
 

Rod Library's Authentication Page

• Last Name: Enter your last name and press the TAB. Use the form of your last name as it appears in records from the Registrar's Office.
   
• ID Number: Enter (without spaces) your 9 digit UNI U-card number (0 0 0 # # # # # #)  found on your U-card (ID card) and click the Submit button.

To access the library's licensed resources you MUST go through the Rod Library website. If you don't go through the library's website to reach the licensed resource, you may be at a vendor's website instead of Rod Library's website. If you receive the library's Authentication Page, "A Password is required to use this resource", and still can't get into the library resource, call 273-2838 for assistance.

Accessing Panther Prowler "My Space" From Off Campus
IF you are accessing Panther Prowler from off campus and IF you wish to access your Panther Prowler My Space account - your folders with your saved citations, your groupings of preferred databases, etc. - click *this link* to connect. You will get a screen that asks for your last name and UNI ID number.
