Shull Hall

Architects Brooks-Borg of Des Moines designed Shull Hall, the second unit in the Regents Complex. The Regents Complex consists of four dormitories grouped around a common food service building.

Shull was completed in 1964 at a final cost of about $1,265,000. The hall was built to house approximately 400 male students.

The dormitory was named for Henry C. Shull, president of the Board of Regents from 1940 through 1951.

In 1995, the Department of Residence announced plans to house both men and women in Shull Hall beginning in the fall of 1996. There are two houses per floor; one house would be for women and the other for men
