UNI Biographical Sketches

Over the years the Special Collections staff has collected and developed a number of biographical sketches of people who have been associated with UNI in a variety of capacities since its founding in 1876. If you believe that biography is at least one key element to understanding history, you may wish to consult the following sketches. Some of these sketches are strictly biographical and even include images; others contain biographical information as part of larger documents such as inventories of papers. Still others are simply scanned and slightly edited versions of news releases, obituary announcements, or memorial statements. This section is under continuing development.
