Iowa Public Interest Research Group (IaPIRG) Papers. 9.5 linear feet.
This collection consists primarily of pamphlets, newsclippings, and other published material gathered by the Iowa Public Interest Research Group at UNI in the late 1960s and early 1970s. There is a wide range of topics covered in this collection including the environment, energy, and politics on the local, state, and national levels. This material is arranged in the file system used in the Group's office. There is also a small collection of material produced by the local chapter and placed at the head of this filing system.
Nearly all of this collection was received from the Iowa State University Archives in 1996 and 1997.
