• The Society of American Archivists home page presents information on meetings, education, organization, and education. Also included is the SAA Code of Ethics, the ALA-SAA Joint Statement on Access to Original Research Materials, and a directory of North American archival organizations.

• The American Library Association archives are held by the University of Illinois. A portion of that collection is available in digital format.

• The Berkeley Finding Aids Project, is concerned about standards for encoding archival descriptions and inventories for use on the Web.

• The School of Library and Information Science at the University of Iowa has recently developed its own home page with information about admission, financial aid, faculty, and courses of study.

• The National Historical Publications and Records Commission site provides information on the Commission's programs, projects, and publications.
