Reference and Instructional Services Department

The Reference and Instructional Services Department is responsible for assisting library users with research and information needs, assisting users with electronic resources, providing instruction in the use of library resources, developing reference and other collections, and helping develop and maintain electronic and other information needs. Typical student responsibilities within the Reference and Instructional Services Department include assisting library users at the Reference Information Point, shelving and filing library materials, filing looseleaf services, providing tours for school groups, and replacing and unjamming computer paper.
