February 2009 Student of the Month

Derek is a senior from Boone, Iowa who has worked in the RIS department since August of 2006. He works at the reference desk and works with government documents. He already has a history degree and is majoring in anthropology.

He hopes to graduate in the fall of 2009 and eventually teach at a college. He chose to work in the library because a high school teacher of his had a sister who worked in the library and told him it would be a good job to have.
