January 2008 Student of the Month
Kelly has been a student assistant in Reference and Instructional Services (RIS) Department of the library for the past three and a half years. Her job responsibilities include answering questions for patrons and performing other miscellaneous duties for the RIS department. She decided to work in the library because her cousins used to work here. She stopped by the library during her summer orientation before her freshman year and her cousins encouraged her to apply for a position.
Kelly is from Waseca, MN and enjoys hanging out with her friends and relaxing.
Currently, Kelly is in her first year of graduate school and is pursuing a Master’s in Accounting. After she finishes her degree here, she is planning to work in Minneapolis at a large public accounting firm. Thank You Kelly for your dedication and hard work!
