nov2006noele.jpgIntroducing our November Student of the Month, Noele!

Noele is a senior accounting major who plans to graduate in May of 2008. She was interested in the position in the Dean’s Office because they were looking for an accounting major and she wanted a job experience that would help her in establishing a career after graduation. The person who nominated Noele notes that she “understands instructions immediately”, has “exceptional judgment” and, “consistently performs all aspects of her duties in an excellent manner.” Noele also likes the flexibility in scheduling which allows her to make her studies a priority.

Noele hails from a town which has a history producing noteworthy library employees, Mason City (also known as “ River City”). She has one brother and one sister and is the youngest in her family. She enjoys playing golf and has been a member of the UNI Golf Team for 2 years. After graduation, Noele will most likely stay in Iowa but recognizes that her major will afford her many career opportunities. She is very fond of dogs and looks forward to settling into a career and getting a golden or Labrador retriever.
