November 2010 Student of the Month

Lacey November 2010 Student of the Month
Lacey is a junior interior design major who has been working for the serials section of Technical Services for over 2 years. Her outstanding work ethic and reliability have made her Rod Library’s November student of the month!
Lacey wakes up at the crack of dawn to come into the Library to wrap Interlibrary Loan packages, and sort and prepare mail. She also pulls issues for binding and mends books for us. She grew up on a farm in rural Denver, Iowa and enjoys playing sports, watching movies and listening to local bands play. She recently took an interior design trip with her fellow classmates to New York and had a wonderful time visiting the Statue of Liberty, attending the musical “Wicked”, and seeing where they film the show “Project Runway”. Lacey plans to try to hopefully stay in Iowa after she graduates and find a residential interior design position.
As well as doing a great job for us here in the Library, Lacey also works in the kitchen at
Hy-vee. So her helpful smile is in their aisles too! You’ve probably seen Lacey delivering the mail throughout the Library, so next time you see her, please let her know how much we appreciate her help.
Congratulations Lacey and thank you for your hard work!!
