Equipment & Rooms Available in the Library for Student Use

Below are listed equipment and rooms in the library that can be checked out.  Some of the items may only be used in the library.  Check with the individual areas housing these materials for more detailed information.  

  • A list of items that students can check-out from the MultiService Center on the 2nd (main) floor:

    • Headphones, cassette players, 16mm film projector, laptops, laptop chargers, phone chargers, Nook, and project supplies (e.g., crayons, markers, scissors, colored pencils, etc.).

  • A list of items that students can check-out from the Circulation Desk on the 2nd (main) floor:
    • Lockers, group study rooms, umbrellas
  • A list of items available from the Fine & Performing Arts Collection on the 4th floor:

    • Scanner, CD and SACD players, VCRs, DVD and Blu-ray players, headphones, cassette tape players, and turntables for in-house use.

    • 2 group listening and viewing rooms which can be checked out at the service desk in the Fine & Performing Arts Collection.

In addition to the above equipment, the library has a Multi-Purpose room on the 3rd floor (Room 324) that may be booked for groups or organizations.  Inquire at the Circulation Desk for more information. 

The library also has KIC scanners available for use.  One is located on the 2nd (main) floor of the library and the other is located on the 1st floor.  Scanning is free and you can either email the scanned item(s) to yourself or save them to a flashdrive.  Ask any service desk for additional questions or assistance.
