Digitizing Music for Non-Academic Purposes

The Art & Music Collection within Rod Library at the University of Northern Iowa maintains and uses music digitizing technology such as CD burning and creation of digital sound files for the express purpose of supporting the curriculum and course offerings of the academic community of the University of Northern Iowa. The Collection digitizes long-playing records (LPs) only for use in providing audio streaming of course reserve items for official courses offered by the University. Due to current copyright law, the Art & Music Collection cannot offer music digitizing or CD burning services to the general public or members of the university community.
