Rod Library owns the following JSTOR collections:  Arts & Sciences I, II, III, and IV, and the Life Sciences Collection (the latter includes the Biological Sciences and the Health & General Sciences collections) . These are full-text periodical databases, with coverage beginning with volume 1 of each title.  JSTOR collections have a moving wall per publisher requirements, which means that the most recent volumes (often 3-5 years, but sometimes as much as 10 years) are not available through JSTOR.  They may be available through other electronic resources to which the Library provides access or in the Library’s print collection.  In some instances, there are links in the JSTOR record to more recent volumes of a title in another database to which the Library may subscribe.  The JSTOR collections owned by the Library provide access to more than 650 titles, of which approximately 400 are owned by the Library in whole or in part.   The titles the Library makes available through JSTOR may be accessed by choosing the JSTOR databases link in the Databases A-Z menu on the Library web page or linking to the JSTOR web site from "JSTOR" records in the online catalog.

Below are links to a list of all titles that have been available in print and/or microform format in the Library’s collection that  are accessible through the JSTOR collections the Library owns. Local holdings for some titles may have been incomplete.  Entries on the list include titles under previous names and related titles.  Each entry includes local call number, title, Library holdings, and JSTOR holdings.  Two versions of the list are available: one organized by call number, the other alphabetically by title.

As announced in spring 2008, the Library is withdrawing the pre-1995 print and microform holdings of all locally owned titles accessible through the JSTOR collections it also owns.  This process should be completed in summer 2010.  It is anticipated that additional volumes will be withdrawn in the future if they are available through JSTOR.

If you have questions about this project, or comments about specific titles slated for be withdrawn, please e-mail
