Join fellow coders, designers and other tech enthusiasts in the Rod Library Makerspace as we make a difference in the Cedar Valley through our technical skills through our five-hour Civic Hackathon!

We'll be identifying a civic technical need and carrying out the work from 12pm - 5pm in the Rod Library Makerspace.    Laptops and other technical gear will be provided; participants of all skill levels are welcome, for any length of time you can provide!

Pick up some new tech skills and meet new friends through this first-ever event in the Cedar Valley..feel free to break off from 2-3pm for the Cedar Valley Makers meeting, in the same space.

The National Day of Civic Hacking is a White House sponsored annual event to promote the collaboration of technically-minded citizens with their governments.  Visit for more information about the national event.
