The Information Desk is located on the main floor of the library. The desk is staffed by student assistants during almost all hours that the library is open. Student assistants help with basic OneSearchlibrary catalog, and database searches. They also can give directions and are well informed abut basic information related to the library and the university.

Librarians are available at the nearby Research Help desk to consult with students, faculty, and staff on more complex questions. This desk is staffed for fewer hours during the week. Librarians are on call during some additional hours and are available by appointment. Research consultations for more extensive assistance can be scheduled using a request form or by contacting individual librarians directly.
