Checking out Videos
Videotapes, DVDs, and Blu-Rays are found in four different locations.
- Book Bistro - Rod Library, main floor (2nd)
- TEACH Studio - Schindler Education Center, 2nd floor
- Fine & Performing Arts Collection - Rod Library, 4th floor
- Video Collection - Rod Library, 4th floor
Finding Videos/Blu-Rays/DVDs for Checkout
Type the title of a video into the OneSearch! box directly to check availability. Videotapes and DVDs are found in four locations:

Checking Out and Reserving Videos/Blu-Rays/DVDs
- Titles may be "booked" (reserved in advance for use on specific dates). Circulation and booking requests are handled in the order received on a first-come, first-served basis.
- If a patron wishes to check out or a video or DVD that is currently available, the patron should bring the video or DVD to Library Services on the second floor. If the patron knows of a video title that they would like to reserve for a future time or "book" they can log in to their library account and search for the title. Once located, they will select the "Request" option. Once the "Request" option is selected, click on the "Booking" radio button. Fill in the dates needed for the reservation period.
- The loan period for videos/DVD's for all categories of patrons is one week (7 days); however, titles will circulate to Distance Education students for 2 weeks (14 days). A title that has been booked will not be available for circulation during the 24 hours prior to the booking date. Titles may be picked up in the Library or can be delivered to any campus address. The Library reserves the right to designate selected titles non-circulating.
Renewing Videos/Blu-Rays/DVDs
Videos may be renewed for one week. If the video is booked, the renewal will be blocked or shortened so that the title will not be in circulation during the 24 hours prior to the booking date.
